Main tasks and responsibilities:

In this role, you will drive Aker BioMarine’s commercial growth across Europe, expanding our footprint in the DACH region, leading the strategy for Revervia®, and building strong relationships with key nutraceutical and pharmaceutical partners. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to turn opportunities into long-term business success.

• Lead and execute the European growth strategy for Revervia®, including market development and pricing initiatives. 
• Maintain and expand business in the DACH region in collaboration with the Distribution Director EMEA.
• Manage and grow key accounts, while identifying and developing new strategic partnerships in pharmaceutical space.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and supply chain to deliver on sales objectives.
• Represent Aker BioMarine at key industry events and strengthen our visibility across the European market.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales and business development within nutraceuticals and/or pharmaceuticals.
• Proven success managing key accounts across Europe. 
• Strong technical background (BSc in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Food Science, Biology or Chemistry; MBA preferred). 
• Experience selling premium ingredients such as omega-3, prebiotics, probiotics, vitamins, or minerals. 
• Strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to design and implement market entry and growth strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging C-level stakeholders.
• Strong communicator, able to engage stakeholders across science, commercial and regulatory fields. 
• Located in the DACH region and fluent in German and English.

The Business Development Director Europe will be based in Germany (preferred), operating remotely with extensive travel across Europe (approximately 50%).
