Sales Manager

The Sales Manager role is an ideal position for someone with solid B2B sales experience in the nutraceutical or health supplement space, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about wellness and science-based ingredients.
The role involves account management, business development, and cross-functional coordination to help drive revenue growth and long-term customer satisfaction for our ingredient portfolio including Superba Krill®, Revervia®, Lysoveta® and PL+ Technology.
We are looking for someone who wants to play a key role in supporting and expanding our portfolio of strategic accounts, national brands, and distribution partners.
Aker BioMarine is a Norwegian biotech company and the leading global krill oil supplier. We are a fast-growing B2B ingredient supplier company specializing in high-quality science-based Omega-3 products. Our mission is to improve human health by delivering innovative, sustainable, and clinically supported omega-3 solutions to global partners in the health and wellness space. We serve a wide range of B2B customers including national brands, contract manufacturers, retailers, and strategic partners across multiple channels of distribution.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts across multiple channels, including national brands, contract manufacturers, and strategic partners
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with leadership to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Drive new business development, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement, including in-person product and concept presentations
- Coordinate proposals, pricing discussions, and other sales activities with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Monitor account performance, report insights in CRM systems, and stay informed about industry trends and customer needs
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of B2B sales or account management experience in the health supplements, functional ingredients, or nutraceutical industry in the US market.
- Demonstrated experience managing key accounts and strategic national accounts.
- Experience in account-based selling, solution-based sales, and value-driven negotiation for science-based ingredients.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (marketing, R&D, regulatory, quality, finance) to support customer needs.
- Knowledge of omega-3s, marine ingredients is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or related field.
The Sales manager will work Hybrid - Remote (California – Texas or Florida). We recognize that people have different needs, and trusts employees to deliver results when given flexibility both in terms of working hours and location.
