We're recruiting for a temporary role as QC Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QC Technician to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis (50%). This role offers practical laboratory work, involvement in a new and exciting project within state-of-the-art facilities, and the potential to contribute to research and development efforts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality by conducting chemical analyses, supporting production processes, maintaining QC laboratory standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Sample Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct release analyses of finished products and materials used in production, ensuring results comply with specifications and procedures.
- Perform in-process and stability analyses, recording and reporting results according to site standards and documentation systems.
Laboratory Operations:
- Support method verification, validation, and equipment qualification, including maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain QC laboratory housekeeping, follow EHS routines, and manage laboratory supply orders.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, methods, protocols, and EHS policies.
- Report deviations, out-of-specification (OOS), and out-of-trend (OOT) results; participate in investigations when relevant.
Support & Development:
- Contribute to R&D, process development, and product development projects.
- Participate in relevant training on analytical methods, equipment use, and documentation systems.
Other Duties:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
- Previous experience in a QC laboratory environment preferred
- Experience with analytical chemistry from QC in production, R&D, process development, and/or product development is preferred. However, candidates without relevant work experience may be considered if they have the required education.
- Experience with analytical techniques and equipment such as HPLC, IC, and GC is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with laboratory safety, GMP, and quality standards
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and reporting skills
Preferred Start Date: 1st of February 2025
Contract Duration: This position will run from February throughout 2025. There is a possibility for continuation beyond this period based on project needs and performance. Additionally, there may be opportunities to increase workload beyond 50% during certain periods depending on operational demands.
Workplace: The QC Technician will work at our plant in Ski, Norway.
